Background: Modifications of the inner retinal layer is a frequent observation following pars plana vitectomy. Aim Work: To assess early changes thickness Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer after vitrectomy by ocular coherence tomography. Patients and Methods: This non-interventional observational study, in which 30 eyes patients underwent Examination Pars Plana Vitrectomy OCT. Cases were performed at Ophthalmology department Beni-Suef University`s Hospital Research Institute Ophthalmology. Results: In current study we found using OCT, there no peri-papillary nerve fiber that can sound statistically. PPV had effect on RNFL because patient Age or Gender ether eye status like underlaying pathology, axial length except some quadrants RNFL. Conclusion: Despite showing vitrectomy, they showed statistical significance
